THE JOB
A Financial Controller is required to fulfil all group financial reporting requirements, ensure appropriate financial controls are in place and provide the first point of contact for all financial matters. The role will report to the Finance Director – Ticketmaster Sport but work closely with the Chairman and the Ticketmaster senior management team.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Maintaining processes and procedures across Ticketmaster SA to ensure that business is transacted in accordance with the Live Nation Statement of authority and acting as approver and authorised signatory where appropriate. Including, inter alia:
Overseeing processes to ensure that invoices are raised according to contracts in an accurate and timely manner.
Approving all significant purchase orders and invoices.
Monitoring and approving travel and entertainment expenses.
Liaising with local accountants and group finance team
Manage a team of accountants based in Greece
Budget preparation and assisting operational management to work within set budgets.
Monthly group reporting within set deadlines.
Investigation and explanation of variances and preparation monthly forecast revisions.
Ad hoc reports as required.
Monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
Maintenance of relevant asset registers
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)
Essential:
Fluent in Greek and English both spoken and written
Experience of working in a senior finance role
Good understanding of local accounting and tax regulations
Good understanding of Greek GAAP and working experience of IFRS/USGAAP
Practical experience of accounts, budget and forecast preparation
Accomplished user of Excel
Desirable:
Experience of group reporting within a UK or US group
Relevant formal accounting qualification
