Grading Foreman

Kern Asphalt Paving and Sealing Co., Inc is seeking a skilled and experienced Grading Foreman to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:

• Read plans and set grade

• Coordinate and lead a team of skilled workers in grading and excavation activities

• Operate and maintain heavy machinery such as motor grader, skip and scraper, paddle wheel scraper, loader and roller.

• Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment

• Communicate effectively with team members to delegate tasks and provide guidance

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Grading Foreman or similar role in the construction industry

• In-depth knowledge of grading and excavation techniques

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints

• Ability to operate and maintain heavy machinery

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
