       Biddeford Schools is seeking for their summer program:

  • Classroom Instructors (will have primary responsibility for instruction and supervision of the Ed Techs)- Classroom Educational Technicians

Dates: July 1-25, 2024 (Mon-Thurs, 8-12)Location: Biddeford Middle School

The Summer Multilingual Learner program serves students K-12 who need extra English Language support over the summer.This program focuses on both academics and recreation in order to provide an opportunity for students to practice their oral and written language, while also accessing resources in their community. In Person Programming at Biddeford Middle School for 3 weeks total In-person programming will follow strict social distancing guidelines as recommended by the CDC and the district leadershipQualifications: Eligible for appropriate Maine Department of Education certification. ESL experience preferred.Reports to: ML Summer Program Director; Leadership Office Faculty,Responsibilities:

  1. Supports learning opportunities in the following areas: Reading, Writing, and Mathematics and ensures they align with programming with the rising grade standards.2. Helps to develop lesson plans, units of study, and instructional materials to provide customized, small, and large group instruction.3. Communicates with teachers, community outreach, building leaders, and other staff to enhance the program and outcomes.4. Supports an effective learning environment through a variety of learning tools, games, and interactive lessons.5. Advances the vision, the mission, and school improvement efforts of the school district.6. Other job-related duties as assigned by the Principals, Leadership Office, or Director
