Next Phase Solutions and Services, Inc. is hiring a talented, experienced UI/UX Specialist II to join our dynamic team. As a UI/UX Specialist II, you will be responsible for designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces and experiences for our digital products. You will collaborate closely with managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand user requirements and translate them into innovative design solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their proficiency in user interface design, user experience research, and prototyping.

Responsibilities:

  • Design user-friendly and visually engaging interfaces for web and mobile applications.
  • Conduct user research and analysis to understand user needs, behaviors, and preferences.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts and ideas.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and iterate on feedback-based designs.
  • Ensure consistency and coherence across all digital platforms by following established design guidelines and best practices.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design tools to continuously improve design processes and deliverables.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles and contribute to creating a positive user experience for our products.

Requirements:

Bachelor'sdegreein Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or other related engineering or technical discipline.

(An additional eight (8) years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.)

Two (2) to Four (4) years of proven as a UI/UX Designer or similar role, preferably in an Agile delivery environment for service design, design research, business design, or customer experience projects

Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.

Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to present and justify design decisions.

Solid portfolio showcasing a range of UI/UX projects and design solutions.

Experience working in an agile development environment.

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
