Pay: From $16.00 per hour. Compensation commensurate of experience and qualifications. The Member Experience Representative (MER) is responsible to perform a variety of frontline duties and create a highly personalized experience for members by identifying their needs and recommending the best financial solutions. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Uphold Core Values when dealing with co-workers, our members and the communities we serve. -Be solution-minded by listening, genuinely caring about, quickly addressing individuals needs and requests, from lobby counter, office area, or drive-thru. -Process financial transactions, such as: deposits, withdrawals, payments, cashing checks, opening accounts, account changes, and many other member inquiries. Perform duties related to member eServices. -Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial products, services, related policies, procedures, rules, and regulations. -Maintain and balance assigned cash drawer. -Provide clear and concise communication by phone, email and in-person; perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor. -May serve as a mentor, assisting new and existing team members. -Generally assigned a home branch, may cover other locations or be assigned a different home branch based on operational need. Basic Qualifications -Must be legally eligible for employment in the United States -Must be 18 years of age or older -Must have obtained a high school diploma or GED -Must be available to work a schedule rotation based on operating hours Preferred Qualifications -One year to three years of similar or related experience -Well-developed communication and service skills -Competence with computers and software programs, computer keyboard by touch, knowledge of general office machines -Accuracy in cash handling, basic math skills -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task -Excellent analytical skills to assist in using available resources for appropriate decision-making regarding member transactions. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is: -Regularly required to talk or hear. -Frequently required to walk or sit; needs to be able to stand for extended period of time. -Must frequently or occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. -Specific vision abilities required by this job include, but are not limited to, close and distance vision.
