The primary purpose of your job position is to provide clinical occupation therapy evaluation and treatment for the

PACE Organizations' participants, on acute, restorative, or maintenance levels needed by the Day Center, Nursing

Home, or in-home setting.

Position Purpose: The primary purpose of this position is to provide clinical occupational therapy evaluation and treatment for the participants of the PACE Organization. This includes acute, restorative, or maintenance therapy as needed in various settings such as the Day Center, Nursing Home, or in-home settings.

Position Details: This position will be based at the LIFE of Montgomery County.

What You Will Do:

  • Evaluate, develop, mentor, coach, counsel, and discipline department staff.

  • Maintain knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and corporate integrity programs.

  • Act within designated roles during disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

  • Attend and participate in scheduled training and educational classes.

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and care planning.

  • Coordinate home modification programs to support independence and safety.

  • Provide treatment to participants consistent with identified goals.

  • Train family members, caregivers, and staff in maximizing safety and functional abilities.

  • Evaluate participant progress and document therapy notes accurately.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.

  • Current, unencumbered, active occupational therapy license in the state of PACE Organization.

  • Two (2) years of appropriate experience as an occupational therapist preferred.

  • One (1) year of experience working with a frail or elderly population; appropriate clinical placement experience may be substituted.

  • Must have Employee Medical Statement meeting job requirements.
