Would you like the opportunity to increase and expand the Registered Apprenticeship (RA) and Pre-Apprentice (Pre-RA) programs for Pennsylvanians? The Department of Labor & Industry is actively seeking a motivated professional for the position of Workforce Development Analyst 2. In this role, you will be providing a variety of outreach, promotional, and technical advisory duties on behalf of the Apprenticeship and Training Office. DESCRIPTION OF WORK The candidate selected for this position will be the main provider of technical assistance to potential or existing registered non-traditional apprenticeship/pre-apprenticeship and other special project program sponsors. Responsibilities will include assisting with registration processes and preparation for program approval in addition to proper launch and maintenance of programs. You will have the opportunity to conduct provisional and compliance reviews in accordance with policy requirements, as well as providing continuous assistance in program capacity building, review and assessment. You will be expected to independently track need, effectively document, maintain records and update systems in relation to programs.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment. Work hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You will have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 3 days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the closest PA CareerLink office (location dependent on that of selected candidate). QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Workforce Development Analyst 1; or Two years of experience in performing technical work in a workforce development program, and a bachelor's degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
