Senior Analyst, Supply Planning

Work Mode: Hybrid

Location: Hybrid at Kohler, WI

Opportunity

Develops and owns the plant(s) and product line(s) master production plans that comprehends demand, plant leveling and constrants, product lead times, service goals and inventory goals.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Develops level loaded and feasible monthly mid-term production plan(s) for multiple product lines and plants in support of the demand plan.Clearly communicates the plan to the plants and Accounting.

  • Analyze rough-cut capacity to ensure feasibility and flexibility of supply plans to meet business objectives.

  • Coordinates with vendors of purchased finished goods, providing mid-range requirements and insuring purchase orders are placed in a timely manner according to vendor lead times.

  • Develops and executes deployment plans for specific finished goods to support costs, service levels, and specific events (retail rollouts, display offers, etc.).

  • Diligently maintains planning data, including product master data, special procurements, calendars and capacities.

  • Working in partnership with customer service and manufacturing, manages exceptional order demand including proactively managing lead times, to maintain service levels.

  • Monitors schedule adherence, alerting manufacturing of short term demand changes and service issues and collaborating with the plant on continuous improvement plans.

  • Coordinates supply chain tasks for production start-up of new products with Engineering, Manufacturing Support, Production Schedulers, Manufacturing sites, Marketing, Purchasing and Supply Chain Alignment.

  • Executes processes to manage product discontinuations and obsolescence, monitoring and managing finished goods and component part inventory levels.

  • Participates with Accounting and Manufacturing management in developing the annual Financial Plan.

  • Participates as appropriate in the updating of the Global Capacity analysis to ensure current capacity utilization is reflected.

  • Proactively drives service metrics and inventory turns on assigned product lines, root causing trends to achieve the desired goals and objectives of the department.

Skills/Requirements

  • College Degree, preferred in Supply Chain Management or related field, and three years of experience in master scheduling are required

  • APICS certification is a plus

  • Must posses strong analytical skills and be proficient in Microsoft Excel; MS-Access, PowerBI or similar is a plus

  • Ability to build relationships and communicate at all levels of the organization

  • Ability to grasp and efficiently utilize SAP and other business systems in use

  • High leadership orientation with supervisory potential

  • Product knowledge advantageous

  • Hybrid work mode in Kohler Wisconsin - 3 days/week onsite

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

The salary range for this position is $69,800 - $87,950. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
