Job Description

A large manufacturing client in Maryville, TN is looking for an Advanced Specialist, Production Engineer to join their team to help rebuild their control documentation from the ground up. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the manufacturing process, the tools and risks involved, and the best practices for quality and safety.

In this role, you will perform work in three phases:

* In the initial phase, you will come into the plant, receive direction from the line engineer, go to the assigned line, study the process, compare it with the existing documentation, and identify and fill in the gaps in the control plan.

* In the second phase, you will work on standardizing the checks and plans across the facility, by understanding how things are done differently in different areas, and adding more detailed failure modes, causes, and countermeasures.

* In the third phase, you will work in the proprietary data system to enter the information you have collected and implement it across the plant.

You will also communicate effectively with the engineer and engineering manager on each line and follow the company policies and procedures.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (ME, EE, IE, etc.)

3-5+ years of experience with process controls

Knowledge of Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA)

Knowledge of Process Control Systems (PCS) Background in Electronics null
