Advanced Software Engineer

Advanced Software Engineer for Intelligrated Systems, LLC in Mason, OH

Responsibilities:

•Provide reliable technical assistance to internal and external customers.

•Be an escalation resource for a team of professional engineers for the Technical Support Helpdesk and debug isoftware and database for various operating systems.

•Focus on accuracy, timely feedback, and customer satisfaction.

•Drive timely identification, investigation, resolution, root cause analysis and replication of technical issues.

•Build internal relationships to expedite complicated cases.

•Develop broad understanding of customer needs.

•Support the knowledge-sharing mindset, methodology, and tools.

•Help develop Technical Support processes.

•Ensure proper documenting and recording of all activity and communication.

•Address systemic coordination issues.

•Be a mentor for a team that solves complex technical problems for external customers.

•Troubleshoot issues related to proprietary software running sortation systems in distribution/fulfillment centers.

•Document details pertaining to issues being worked on.

•Create and provide training.

•Debug software defects and analyze software source code.

•Develop software improvements.

•Test and implement software changes.

•Create root cause analysis documents.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

•Location: Mason, OH

•40 hours/week

•Employee Referral Fee: $1500

•If offered employment must have legal right to work in U.S. EOE.

YOU MUST HAVE:

Qualified applicants must have a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Engineering Physics, Computer Science or a related field, and 5 years of experience in Software Development. Full term of experience must include: performing role on Technical Support or equivalent experience to provide troubleshooting of controls systems, databases, and software; able to interpret and debug using C, C#, C++, and java; skilled with SQL and maintenance jobs; programing and modification of Allen Bradley and Siemens Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Variable Frequency Drives (VFD). Telecommuting permitted up to two (2) times per week. Up to 10% domestic travel required.
