Dignity Health Medical Group is the employed physician group of Dignity Health Arizona. Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 200 providers and 500 support staff that cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 sub-specialty services. The physicians provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal academic research and leadership roles.DHMG is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrow's healthcare providers. Clinical services are complemented with translational and bench research to augment medical education for residents and students.

Responsibilities

A clinic supervisor oversees the daily operations of a healthcare facility, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of medical services. Provides tactical leadership in order to maximize the effectiveness of all service delivery systems and financial performance, engages staff and cultivates a clinic culture that prioritizes humankindness and patient-centric care. Coordinates the day-to-day operational aspects of the clinic. Works closely with staff and providers to ensure that all fiduciary and clinic goals are met.

Principal Duties and Accountabilities:

  • Participates in work groups, teams, task forces and committees to support ongoing improvement in clinic operations. Provides value-added and productive input and expertise to drive continual improvement, support standardization and streamlining and to resolve ongoing patient care issues.

  • Assists in determining the workload priorities to enable timely completion of tasks while monitoring work performance and supporting with training and coaching as necessary.

  • Assists in managing the revenue cycle and supports the management of supply costs, tracks inventory usage, using purchasing information management systems, including maintaining staffing levels that adhere to labor standards and effectively controlling staff premium pay.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Minimum of two (2) years experience in related field.

Special Skills:

Working knowledge of community clinic/health center operations.

Pay Range

$30.55 - $44.30 /hour
