Job Summary: Trane in East & Central Europe is currently seeking a Sales Engineer to join our industrial process-cooling segment. In this role, you will be responsible for developing strong customer relationships, increasing account share, and ensuring customer retention with building owner accounts.

Sales Engineer (Industrial Process Cooling Solutions)

Czech Republic

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise and consultation to develop sustainable industrial process cooling solutions for customer problems, considering financial and performance-based factors.

  • Understand customer needs and identify market opportunities.

  • Convert leads into opportunities by following the appropriate sales process, identifying requirements, assigning tasks, and communicating next steps.

  • Develop and execute an account-specific business plan to foster a strong, profitable, and successful partnership.

  • Assist customers with technical questions and support industry-related issues.

  • Collaborate with the Country Sales Leader in Czech & Slovakia to drive brand growth in the marketplace.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business, or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Previous business-to-business (B2B) sales experience.

  • Knowledge of industrial refrigeration/industrial process cooling solutions OR experience in selling products/solutions for production lines is beneficial.

  • Fluent in Czech and competent in English.

  • Willingness and ability to travel within the Czech Republic, including visits to Prague's office.

  • Ability to creatively approach sales plans and build customer relationships from scratch.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work in a high-stress sales environment and multitask.
