This is your chance to be at the forefront of a transformative initiative that has been years in the making. As the Project Director, you will lead a diverse team of professionals, guiding them with your expertise and strategic vision to restore the stunning coastline of Saudi Arabia, stretching from the Kuwait border to Abu Ali Island and Jubail Industrial City. In this critical role, you will be the driving force behind the program's success. As a good listener, you will excel in translating the client's needs into actionable solutions that exceed their expectations. Your ability to build trusted working relationships with the project team will be paramount, ensuring that they feel valued and supported. You will inspire and empower a growing local team of 10 talented individuals, developing a collaborative and innovative environment. Your responsibilities will span across various aspects of the program, including client interface, project oversight, administrative management, and reporting to the United Nations.

Here’s what you’ll need :

If you are a seasoned professional with an impressive educational background and extensive experience in environmental science, environmental engineering, engineering, ecosystem management, biology, civil engineering, chemistry, or a related field, this is an opportunity of a lifetime. We value your expertise and dedication, and we are excited to offer you the chance to make a significant impact on one of the world's largest ecological restoration projects. While an accredited master's degree in the aforementioned disciplines is highly desirable, we understand that years of relevant experience can be just as valuable. If you have successfully substituted your master's degree with additional years of pertinent experience, we welcome your application and the wealth of knowledge you bring to the table. As a Project Manager with at least 20 years of direct experience in environmental and/or ecological projects, with a strong focus on remediation, you will find a challenging and rewarding environment within our team. We appreciate your specific experience in managing and delivering United Nation-related environmental projects or programs (or practical equivalents) and consider it a key asset for this role. Although previous experience working in Saudi Arabia is advantageous, we understand that it may not be a requirement for everyone. If you have a solid track record of extensive environmental experience in US or UK Remediation/Restoration Projects, including a minimum of 5 years of international project experience, we believe you have the skills and expertise necessary to excel in this position. By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a talented and passionate group of professionals who share your commitment to environmental sustainability. We offer a competitive compensation package, opportunities for growth and development, and the chance to leave a lasting legacy in the field of ecological restoration. If you are ready to take on this exciting challenge and contribute your expertise to a groundbreaking project, we encourage you to apply.
