Compensation Manager

Location: Indianapolis, IN. This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The Ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.

The Compensation Manager will be responsible for leading compensation initiatives and consulting with management and HR regarding various compensation practices and policies. At this level, emphasis is primarily on providing on-going consultation to major regions or business unit’s management and HR partners, balancing the company's compensation strategy, policies, and programs with business unit needs..

How you will make an impact:

  • Provides expertise and on-going leadership in various compensation issues and policy development.

  • Leads various corporate-wide compensation initiatives including incentive plan design, merit process, total direct compensation analysis, salary survey design and submission, job redesign, job measurement and data analysis/adhoc reporting.

  • Responsible for leading global compensation initiatives and consulting with management, other Compensation partners, and HR regarding various compensation practices and policies.

  • The Compensation Manager will provide on-going consultation for a global or U.S./Puerto Rico business unit’s management and HR partners, balancing the company's compensation strategy, policies, and programs with business unit needs.

  • In addition, ensuring compliance with local country laws and regulations as it pertains to compensation programs.

  • Provides expertise and on-going leadership in various compensation issues and policy development.

  • May lead various corporate-wide compensation initiatives, including annual performance and pay cycle, total direct compensation analysis, salary survey design and submission, job redesign, job measurement and data analysis reporting as it pertains to assigned business units or countries.

  • Will partner with Staff VP, Global Compensation, Intl Total Rewards and Global Mobility on global compensation and benefits projects.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA degree in related field and minimum of 6 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

  • 5+ years Global Compensation experience strongly preferred.

  • HR related designation preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $110,160 to $165,240.
