DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position you will perform routine and specialized welding repair and fabrication assignments. Work includes welding, brazing, soldering, cutting, tempering, and shaping ferrous and non-ferrous metals through the operation of acetylene, arc, tungsten inert gas (TIG) or metal inert gas (MIG) welding, and related shop equipment. Responsibilities include equipment and material layout, process determination for part and equipment fabrication, metal structure or part cutting, shaping, welding, and repair for diverse applications, as well as delegating and demonstrating welding tasks to maintenance staff. The work is done autonomously, with ongoing checks during and after completion to ensure compliance with standards and timeliness.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Three years of experience in the operation and use of welding equipment, materials, and related shop equipment to repair, maintain, or fabricate parts, equipment, or structures; or Completion of a three-year, high school Vo-Tech training program in welding and eighteen months of experience in the operation and use of welding equipment, materials, and related shop equipment to repair, maintain, or fabricate parts, equipment, or structures; or Completion of an approved welder apprentice program; or A welding certificate D1.1 from the American Welding Society; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Special Requirement:

This position requires possession of an active Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License. Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions. How to Apply:
